As far as I can recall I always wanted to be a baker, a cake decorator. Growing up this was the career I wanted to pursue. After graduating high school I attended culinary school and graduated with a 4.0 gpa receiving a certificate for Fine Baking and Pastry. Shortly after school I got a position as a baker at Alise Bakery & Cafe in Roseville. Making pastries, pies, tarts and decorating cakes was my job but felt far from work. To be able to go to work and do something you are so passionate for is awesome and definitely a great feeling of accomplishment. With the education and experience I have received I have decided to continue to pursue my career and make cakes on my own.
